Red, Hot, & Blue Festival
The festival is free and held at Town Green Park and Water Way Square. These evening events from 6 – 10 pm will be the grand finale to cap off a day’s worth of holiday activities. There will be live musical acts playing on two separate stages. There will also be two eating contests–a hot dog eating contest and a watermelon eating contest. Fireworks begin at dusk and a musical soundtrack that synchronizes with the fireworks will play on Sunny 99.1.
Fourth of July Parade
The Fourth of July Parade begins at 9 am on Market Street. There are dozens and dozens of different organizations participating in the parade from Cub Scouts to Girl Scouts to the Marine Corps to local churches and more. Be prepared to see Irish dancers, marching bands, twirlers, uniquely-decorated floats, and much more. Many people in the parade will be giving out candy for the kids!
Cool off while having fun with other community members at a local pool. Splash Day runs from noon to 4 pm and involves free entrance to thirteen local swimming pool in The Woodlands, TX area. Fun for kids and adults alike!
