3rd Annual KW Has Talent Show

The Woodlands Keller Williams Realty office showcased some amazing talent at the 3rd Annual KW Has Talent Show on Wednesday, October 14th, at the Dosey Doe Music Café on FM 1488 in Conroe.   Vanessa Raanes and the Rock Star Realty Group joined with the rest of its Keller Williams Realty office in raising money for our local Keller Williams family fund. In all, 20 Local Vendors supported the event through a donation sponsorship. This fantastic event included amazing agents with incredible talent, several live auction items, some delicious food and tasty drinks. Raising just over $26,000 for charity, this event was huge success.

A Super Success

The three live auction items included a set of front row Houston Rocket tickets, an autographed guitar, and two sets of Zac Brown tickets. Among the performers at Wednesday night’s charity event were Vinny Sinisi, Jennifer Brown, Amy Jo Hall, Michelle Rukny, Vernon Hayes, Jennifer Majors Baca, Brad Brickhouse, and the event was won by Fidelity National Title’s Kalli Gonzalez.  Kalli will get to keep the trophy for a year, until next year’s event.

The Sponsors

The 20 sponsors at the event, beside the Keller Williams Realty-The Woodlands hosts, were Academy Mortgage, Alamo Title, Charter Title, Texas Sign Boss, Amcap Mortgage, Ashton Woods, Avalon Insurance, Capital Title, Cherry Creek Mortgage, Chicago Title, Dosey Doe Music Café, Kris Hasselbring with Color Interiors, Core Lending, Fidelity National Title, JMB Insurance Solutions, First American Title, Providence Title, Startex Title, Stewart Title, Superior Renovation and Construction, Texas Premier Mortgage, and The Woodlands Development Company.

The Fun

vinny

Keller Williams Has Talent brought in over 150 agents, family and vendors to share in the good times. The winner was chosen by the amount of money donated by the audience that was put into their “bucket” for their performance.  As usual, Vinny Sinisi brought down the house and kicked off and concluded the night with a set that included some good ole’ Johnny Cash.

Vernon Hayes

One of the favorites of the night was a crowd roaring rendition of Lee Greenwood’s  song, I am Proud to be an American.  Way to go Vernon.  Our Team Leader, Tina Brickhouse convinced her future Tony Winning son, Brad to show off his exceptional skills.  Amazing stuff he is able to do at such a young age.  The evenings championship trophy went to the yodler, Kalli Gonzales.  Thank you Kalli for your voice and your sponsorship to the event.

Kyle Hutton generously donated his talent as our MC of the event.

Vanessa, a key member of RockStar Group of Keller Williams Realty-The Woodlands, was the chair at this event. Vanessa Raanes’ brother, Kyle Hutton, was the MC at the event. A big thank you also goes out to Joan and Steve Said, the owners of Dosey Doe, who proudly shared their special place with Keller Williams.

The KW Has Talent Show is a special event held each year at the Music Café.  Vanessa, Kyle and the Culture Committee of Keller Williams are off to a terrific start for next year’s event, the 4th Annual KW Has Talent Show.   The vendors loved the event and what the money does to help our agents who have life happen.  The agents can apply for a grant to help them get through the issue that they need to get through.  This event has continued to inspire our agents to support each other, just like family does.

Just like the community it serves, the Rockstar  Group and Keller Williams Realty are also focused on family and supporting the surrounding community of agents and staff through various events such as the Keller Williams Has Talent.
