Every year, Romance comes on Sunday February 14th.  What are you going to do this year that is different from years past?  I know that I struggle to find the next new and improved Valentines Date Night event.  This Sunday, I am sure I will just cook a big piece of RED Meat and White Potatoes, yeah, that should be just fine. Oh, and toss in one of those dozen red roses for fun..

Daddy Daughter Dinner and Dance

For those with adoring young ladies in your family, the 17th Annual Daddy Daughter Dinner & Dance will once again be held at the Waterway Marriott, onSaturday, February 6. Space is filling up fast; get all the details on this magical event especially for fathers and their little girls here.

Horse and Pony Show

Visitors to Market Street can celebrate Valentine’s Day with a romantic carriage ride February 12 – 14. Platinum Horse & Carriage will be offering horse-drawn carriage rides Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Turn your evening into a real-life fairy tale with a horse-drawn carriage ride for two around Market Street, available each evening from 6:30 – 9:30 PM. will take couples on five, 10, and 30-minute excursions amidst the white twinkle lights of Market Street. Couples carriage rides begin at $25. Couples can choose to enhance their experience with fresh roses, chocolate-covered strawberries, gourmet cupcakes and more for $35-$200 per couple.

Plus, children can enjoy a kid-sized heart cart pulled by a pony around Market Street’s Central Park at $5 per child. Reservations and deposits (half the ride price) are required for all carriage rides, except the $25 carriage ride and the children’s heart cart rides. All carriage rides are weather permitting. Singles Specials at Baker Street Pub

Always there to support for the single ladies (and gents, naturally), Baker Street Pub & Grill will host a Love Sucks party this year on Valentine’s Day. Unattached? Then you’re invited to eat and drink your sorrows away. Baker Street’s Valentine’s Day special includes a single slider, single taco, single chicken finger, and single fry (yes – one French fry) for a single $10 bill (plus tax and gratuity, of course)! Fieldings Wood Grill

At Fielding’s Wood Grill on Research Forest, diners are invited to fall in love with Fielding’s before the big day, and enter for a chance to win your Valentine’s dinner – free! This year, shall celebrate the rare miracle that is True Love by attending an RSVP-Only banquet-style Valentine’s Day Dinner, with five various courses. This special menu on a special day is $65 per person, due upon reservation. Additionally, feel free to come early, as they will be hosting their first Lonely Hearts Happy Hour from 2:00 – 5:00 PM, with $2.00 off wine by the glass and all beer. Always an excellent choice, Kirby’s Prime Steak House – front and center in The Woodlands Town Center – is offering a new Valentine’s Day package for 2016. Kirby’s will be serving an exquisite, four course Valentine’s menu featuring selections such as cold water lobster tail with scampi basil cream sauce; all-natural 16 ounce New York strip steak with prosciutto, caramelized onions and a port wine demi; and finally a dessert to remember – a chocolate trio ganache cake with champagne-macerated strawberries! This wonderful four course Valentine’s menu is available for a limited time at $89 per person (plus tax and gratuity, does not include alcohol).
